We are just five minutes drive to the start of the Llanberis Path, 15 minutes drive to the start of the Pyg TrackMiners Track Snowdon Horseshoe. Set in our own grounds, out of town, away from the hustle and bustle of Llanberis High Street, Glyn Peris has STORAGE FACILITIES for bikesmotor bikes etc, a DRYING ROOM for all wet kit and off street parking. Hearty breakfasts, pack lunches and FREE FLASK FILLING service set you up for your day out walking, climbing, scrambling or simply exploring Snowdonia. Then with contemporary décor, comfortable centrally heated bedrooms, modern bathrooms (all with showers) and a cosy guest lounge with log burning stove, you have everything you need to relax afterwards. PLEASE NOTE: Glyn Peris DOES NOT ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS. Deposits are payable in advance by CHEQUE or BANK TRANSFER. If you have not received an email from Glyn Peris with deposit payment details and if you have not paid the deposit by cheque or bank transfer, your booking is NOT confirmed. Directions

Directions by roadFrom the A55 Turn off at junction 11, sign posted for Bangor and Llanberis.Turn left at the roundabout at the top of the slip road onto the A5 and immediately get into the right hand lane to then turn right at the next roundabout onto the B4366, signposted for Llanberis.Follow this road for approx 3 miles and turn left at the roundabout onto the B4547, signposted for Llanberis. Stay on this road, again for about 3 miles and turn left at the T-junction onto the A4086.The road is quite bendy so take care.You will see Lake Padarn on your left. After a few bends you will pass a cluster of cottages on your right, and then the Lake View Hotel. Glyn Peris is just around the next bend to the right and the parking area is just past the house.From the A5 At Capel Curig turn left off the A5 onto the A4086 signposted for Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Stay on this road for 4.5 miles, turning right at the Pen Y Gwryg pub to start climbing up into the spectacular Llanberis Pass and on to the villages of Nant Peris and Pentre Castell. Once past Llanberis itself, passing Electric Mountain on your right and keeping the lake on your right, the road starts to climb and bend. Keep going past the Kent Centre on your right and we are a short distance further along on the left. The parking area is before the house on the left.Travelling by trainCatch the train to Bangor station which is on the main line between Chester and Holyhead.Travelling by busCatch the number 85 bus from Bangor station or the C5 and change at Caernarfon for the number 88. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Ask to get off at the Lake View Hotel and walk around the corner to see us on the opposite side of the road.
